Community Involvement in Protecting
Wildlife and Habitat

One thing you can do is get involved with keeping the environment you have contact with the most in good ecological shape - your yard.  Audubon International has a version of it's ACSP program specifically for homeowners who have wildlife or habitat on their property - you can see their website by clicking HERE.

Sunningdale has a bulletin board area in our lower hallway set aside for environmental information and wildlife tracking/sightings on our course.  Stop by and, if you see any specific wildlife that you recognize, please contribute to our listing!

We have also had a number of community projects with children on our course, helping to plant trees and learn about the habitat and wildlife we have on our property.  One recent project saw a group of school children spend the afternoon planting a row of trees near our parking area and learning about horticulture from our experts.
