From the white tees, this is a medium length par four of 364 yards.  But from the black tees (459 yards) it becomes perhaps the toughest hole on the front nine.

It’s not just the extra length that creates the challenge.  It’s accuracy, as well.  From the black tees, the landing area for your drive is pinched by bunkers on the left and trees (with a steep drop-off behind them) on the right.  If you land in one of these bunkers, you might as well say goodbye to your par.

Once safely past these bunkers, the hole doesn’t let up.  The kidney-shaped green slopes severely to the right toward a ravine, creating a challenge for your approach shot.
