Hole number nine is a soft dogleg. Because it’s heavily treed on the
right, you want your ball on the left of the fairway. Too far
left, though, and you’re in a bunker. That means a bogie for
sure.
New trees have recently been planted to discourage
people from trying to cut the dogleg. If you get a well placed drive,
your second shot is wide open. The green is well protected by bunkers,
but you should be close enough to get some loft on your second shot.
Because the green slopes sharply from back to front, aim for below
the pin.
