This short par five is another signature hole, one that most golfers
remember. It crosses the same creek twice, once just off the tee,
and again before the green.
Its a classic risk-reward hole for the long
ball hitters. Theres an opportunity to put your second shot
on the green, but its a demanding shot that has to carry the
creek and a pond. If not perfect, you could end up with a double
bogey.
Most golfers lay up just before the creek, and a birdie
from here is quite doable. The green is very wide but not
deep. Thats another reason why the second shot can be so challenging
for the long player. Youre hitting to a green that doesnt
give you much to land on.
