2010 Rules: LOCAL RULES AND INFORMATION
1) All Flights Play From Blue Tees.
2) Format: Saturday - Shamble; Sunday - 4-Ball
3) All rulings regarding play, equipment, and scoring will be decided by committee, following standard
G.A.O. rules.
4) If in doubt, play a second ball and get a ruling when you come in. The Golf Pro will interpret the rules and settle any
disputes.
5) Players Must Keep Up With The Group Ahead. Rangers will give one warning, if the problem is not corrected a one stroke penalty
will be given to the entire group.
6) Pin Placement: Red flag for front, White flag for middle, Blue flag for back.
7) Staked Trees Are To Be Treated As Immovable Obstructions. Drop your ball within two club lengths not nearer to the hole. No
penalty will be given.
8) Procedure When You Encounter Designated Ground Under Repair and/or Chalked Areas: Players may lift and drop to the closest
point of relief that is not nearer to the hole with no penalty.
9) Procedure For Temporary Stoppage of Play: Play will be suspended by three consecutive blasts of a horn if there is lightning
or the course is unplayable. Rain by itself will not halt play. Mark where your ball lies to resume play from that spot. Play may
resume only when you hear three consecutive blasts of horn.
10) Scorecards will be handed in immediately after
play and must be signed and attested. |
