2008 Rules: 

LOCAL RULES AND INFORMATION

1) All Flights Play From Blue Tees.

2) Format: Saturday - Scramble; Sunday - 4-Ball

3) All rulings regarding play, equipment, and scoring will be decided by committee, following standard G.A.O. rules.

4) If in doubt, play a second ball and get a ruling when you come in. The Golf Pro will interpret the rules and settle any disputes.

5) Help Speed Up Play. Don’t putt out if your ball does not count. Morning groups should go out to the tees at 7:45 a.m. and afternoon groups immediately after your cart is ready. The first group off every hole should tee off before the shotgun sounds, go to the ball, and then wait to hear the shotgun before hitting their second shot.

6) Players Must Keep Up With The Group Ahead. Rangers will give one warning, if the problem is not corrected a one stroke penalty will be given to the entire group.

7) Pin Placement: Red flag for front, White flag for middle, Blue flag for back.

8) Staked Trees Are To Be Treated As Immovable Obstructions. Drop your ball within two club lengths not nearer to the hole. No penalty will be given.

9) Procedure When You Encounter Designated Ground Under Repair and/or Chalked Areas: Players may lift and drop to the closest point of relief that is not nearer to the hole with no penalty.

10) Procedure For Temporary Stoppage of Play: Play will be suspended by three consecutive blasts of a horn if there is lightning or the course is unplayable. Rain by itself will not halt play. Mark where your ball lies to resume play from that spot. Play may resume only when you hear three consecutive blasts of horn.

11) Score Cards Must Be Signed Before Being Turned In To The Scorers.

12) Lunch will be provided both days from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Dinner will be provided Saturday night from 6:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m.. Lunch and Dinner tickets must be presented for service.

13) Extra dinner tickets: Tickets for guests are available at a cost of $55 (plus applicable taxes).
